In the 4th Postgraduate Student Symposium of the Chemistry Department of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, titled “Chemistry and its Applications”, held from 28 to 29 May 2025, at the premises of the Chemistry Department of NKUA, ENVIROMED was showcased by one of its’ partners – EYDAP, through a scientific presentation, promotional material and discussions.
EYDAP’s R&D department’s researcher had the chance to present innovative technologies concerning the identification, measurement and real-time monitoring of pharmaceuticals at the entrance and exit of the Psyttalia Waste Water Treatment Plant.
This event provided an opportunity to demonstrate to young scientists the development of innovative sensors that allow the detection and measurement of pharmaceuticals in wastewater and the marine environment of the Saronikos Gulf as well as to further discuss the project’s scientific and technological objectives and exploitation of its results.
